Congress honored the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary with a proclamation read by Rep. Nick LaLota recognizing the significant and enduring contributions of Auxiliarists across the nation. Lieutenant Chris Booth from the Office of the Chief Director of Auxiliary at Coast Guard Headquarters described the proclamation as, “Truly unforgettable recognition that serves as a fitting tribute to the selfless volunteerism continuously exhibited by Auxiliarists as they educate America’s recreational boating public and augment important Coast Guard missions.” This special acknowledgment highlights the unwavering dedication and impact of our volunteers supporting Team Coast Guard.

The BOATUS Foundation's popular Courseline website (http://www.boatus.com/Courseline/) now automatically includes all Auxiliary Public Education courses that are listed in our National Public Education Database as searchable courses in their own Courseline database. This means that any flotilla that has submitted an Online Form 7023 Notice of Intent to Teach via their units WOW website, or using the 7023 Webform's national dashboard at http://dev02.cgaux.org/wowII/PE_signin.php, can expect to see their courses appear as well in Courseline.
The National Public Education Calendar and ZipCode Course Finder now permits PE officers to include links to other websites in their PE Course entries. The links show up in the Online PE Flyer that gets generated when a site visitor selects "PE Flyer" while viewing Auxiliary course listings in the National Public Education Zip Code Course Finder, on on any unit's WOW Website, or legacy unit Websites whose webmasters have incorporated the "PE Webkit".
