Removal of Grounded vessel in Puerto Rico

The United States Coast Guard stated in a recent New Release that an abandoned freighter that is grounded will be refloated and tower to a location where it will sunk in waters with a minimun depth of 600 feet. The Freighter Jireh went aground on Mona Island on June 21st. Over 5000 gallons of oil/water, 600 tons of cargo and 110 tons of steel have been removed.
