In addition to General Duties, the Branch Assistant-Social Media, under the general direction and supervision of the Branch Chief-Social Media (BC-BRS), shall have the following responsibilities:
- Create and supervise a system of regular postings on Facebook and Instagram, to deliver messages to the public promoting recreational boating safety.
- Collect available data on views and responses to the postings and recommend to DVR-BR and BC-BRS how to use such information to formulate future communications.
- Perform related duties and other tasks as assigned.
- Attend scheduled meetings as requested.
- Provide a brief monthly report.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Experience with social media, Facebook and Instagram.
- AUXPA 1, 2, or 3 or equivalent experience.
- Experience with graphic design and using Canva, Adobe graphic design programs, or equivalent.
