AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETER

 

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter

Major responsibilities:

  • A member proficient in ASL is needed to assist the Coast Guard as well as the Administrative Investigations Directorate in communicating with the hearing impaired.  This may be via video calls or in-person meetings.  A future position in the Administrative Investigations (O) Directorate is possible.
  • Attend scheduled meetings as requested.
  • Provide a brief, monthly report.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Proficient in ASL.
