Duties, the branch chief, under the direction and supervision of the Division Chief, RBS Outreach Districts Liaison, shall have the following responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li><span>Provide assistance to Coast Guard units, Auxiliary national directorates, and Auxiliary district organizations in their efforts to promote and support recreational boating safety programs. </span></li> <li><span>Have overall responsibility for liaisons with respective state organizations and state liaison officers in their assigned regions.</span></li> <li><span>Establish a meaningful, ongoing relationship with regular interaction with the State Liaison Officers of those states assigned to the respective region. </span></li> <li><span>Investigate state issues adversely affecting the intent outlined in the <em>State Liaison Guide</em> that the Auxiliary can help resolve.</span></li> <li><span>Communicate such issues to appropriate Auxiliary staff officer(s) via the chain of leadership and<span> </span>management</span></li> <li><span>Compile and forward quarterly reports to the DVC-BD.</span></li> <li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal"><span> </span><strong>Skills and Qualifications Required:</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span> </span></strong>Excellent interpersonal skills.</p> <ul> <li><span>Overall knowledge of Auxiliary recreational boating safety initiatives.</span></li> <li><span>Demonstrated team-oriented management style.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google
