The Branch Assistant will contribute to the Auxiliary’s emergency communication policy and serve as a knowledgeable resource, ensuring the application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for effective response and preparedness. The specific responsibilities may evolve based on the dynamic needs of the Auxiliary and the Everbridge team.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic certificate in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Emergency Management, or a related field. Minimum of one year of experience in GIS analysis and management. Strong proficiency in GIS software, particularly ESRI products or QGIS (open-source software). Familiarity with the Everbridge Mass Notification System and certification is highly desirable. Practical communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, especially in emergency response scenarios. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
