Vass, Jr. is pleased to announce the winners of the four new Coasties, which were purchased by CG-BSX-1. The winners are: District 17, District 9CR, District 7 - Division - 12 Flotilla 10, and District 8ER. The winners were selected by the NEXCOM after review of the letters submitted. Letters were received from Districts, Divisions, and Flotillas from all over the country. Congratulations to all four winners.

Come and learn what's new in the Auxiliary Information Technology world, including the latest version of the department's fabulous content management system, the WOW Pushbutton Website System. WOW allows any member who can use a word processor to easily build unit web sites without the need to know HTML programming. You will have a unit web site up and running before you complete the class.

Simply fill out a Short Term Resident Training Request, Form 7059 (CG-5223), have it signed by your flotilla commander and submit it to your DIRAUX for approval. You will be on your way to San Diego. Weather Damages Auxiliary National Supply Center; Operations Temporarily on Hold Andy Gibson http://blogs-it.cgaux.org/member_news.php?title=weather-damages-auxiliary-national-supply-center-operations-temporarily-on-hold&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 2012-05-03T04:47:06Z 2012-05-03T04:47:06Z ST. LOUIS - Severe weather damaged the Auxiliary National Supply Center (ANSC) last Saturday, April 28. The building is currently in non-operational status while personnel assess the damage and work toward getting the facility back up and running. A timeframe is presently not available for operational status.

Coast Guard Auxiliary units requesting brochures and other material for their National Safe Boating Week campaigns, as well as general operations, are asked to be patient and procure items via alternative resources until ANSC is again operational.

Additional information will be passed along as it becomes available.
